First things first: I am not going to pretend I have a huge team of people behind me and talk in the third person about what Tim is and is not. One of the key foundations of timsimons.com is to help you show up in the world unashamedly and excitedly as your authentic self, and I want to do the same.
So, I am me. I am a coach. I am a business owner. I am a father. A son. A husband and a brother. I am an Aussie who lived and worked in New York from 2017 to 2024. I love my job and I am so lucky to meet people like you.
I always wanted to work for myself, and at the start of 2013, I left my corporate career to start Build Coaching. The full story of what I achieved in the corporate world in the 15 years before taking that big leap of faith in myself is there for you to read in my LinkedIn profile. The short story: an enormous amount of leadership experience, people development and strategic thinking helped me tremendously with the transition from employment to self-employment.

Meet the boss

I began my coaching journey in 2011 and moved into coaching full-time in 2013. Along the way, I have worked with some great corporations and brands, including multiple Fortune 500 companies. The 12,000-plus hours of one-on-one coaching I have conducted have been the greatest education I will most likely ever receive. One constant I see time and time again is that whether you’re at the peak of your career, somewhere in the middle or just starting out, everyone wants to do well, make an impact for themselves or their teams and have healthy relationships in their lives.
As a coach, this is what I ultimately help people achieve. If you’re reading this, you might be interested in coaching for yourself or for your teams. You might be ready to get going right now and start investing in yourself, so get in touch for a chat.
If you’re wondering why you might need or want to work with me as your coach, or how you would benefit from this kind of support, the best thing I can offer you on this is reassurance. Reassurance that time spent working on your relationship with yourself is time well spent. Coaching is about updating your relationship with yourself by keeping things simple, removing the guesswork, planning for obstacles and ensuring results.
Every great performer, elite athlete, business genius or superstar is surrounded by coaches and advisors. Just as great athletes benefit from a coach who guides and supports them with a winning game plan, you or your team can benefit from the same approach. You don’t have to be Beyoncé to hire a team for yourself.
I started my coaching journey because I have a deep love of the human spirit. Helping people feel and be their most authentic selves is my passion in life. I love hearing from former clients years later and feeling proud of the journey they’re on.
My role as your coach is to create a safe space for us to reflect on how you currently create your reality and explore how you approach the different areas and events in your life. I have this unrelenting belief that the most important lessons come from within, and I want you to listen, observe and audit any of your self-talk, your beliefs and your narrative that aren’t working for you anymore.
What we think about ourselves shapes how we feel about ourselves. I want to support and encourage you to create focus and momentum in the areas of your life that are most important to you right now. I have seen enough clients change dramatically to know that anything is possible.
If this is you, I encourage you to get in touch through any of the services on my Work With Me page.
